Since Copic Markers are alcohol based, you’ll want to avoid colouring in images stamped with solvent inks like StazOn.

Some of the inks Copics are compatible with and recommend include:

• Tsukineko Memento Dye Inkpad

• Versafine Onyx Black & other colours in the Versafine range ( heat set for best results )

• Ranger Adirondack Inks

• Tsukineko Brilliance Ink

For the most consistent results try heat setting your image before colouring. Areas that are heat embossed will colour in nicely, since the embossing powder protects the ink line from smudging. Test coloured powders to make sure they won’t bleed with the markers.
